We are delighted to announce that Alan Dalton has joined Johnson Hana as Commercial Director. In his role, Alan will work with legal counsel to deliver cost effective legal solutions.

Alan Dalton joined Johnson Hana in April 2021 as Commercial Director. In his role, Alan has been working to deliver cost effective legal solutions to clients from a range of industries, but with a particular focus on the banking, property and financial services sectors.

Alan has over 15 years’ experience in commercial client facing roles and brings a wealth of knowledge to his position.

After graduating from UCD in 2003 with a Business & Legal Studies degree, Alan moved to the U.S. where he spent a decade in Boston and Chicago working for different financial institutions in Commercial Real Estate and Private Wealth roles.

In 2013, Alan returned to Ireland where he began working for Capita, now Link Group (BCM Global) in a Senior Business Development role within their Banking and Credit Management division. Here, Alan worked with multiple global Private Equity Funds, Origination Funds, FinTechs and large financial institutions, to provide bespoke outsourced banking and credit management services.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, sea swimming and exploring new hiking trails with his wife and two children. Alan also moonlights as a coach for his kids’ sports teams!

“Really excited to announce the appointment of Alan Dalton as our new Commercial Director. Alan’s wealth of experience across the banking & finance sector will bring tremendous advantage and value to Johnson Hana and its client base, particularly in the context of our work in the regulatory compliance, BAU complaints and asset disposal spheres.

There is huge scope for positive disruption in the banking & finance sector. There is so much existing frustration from businesses and banks in this space who are disadvantaged as a consequence of paying over the odds to law firms and or consultancy firms for the process tasks that flow out of asset disposals and large regulatory compliance processes.”

Dan Fox, CEO of Johnson Hana

Alan joins a range of new hires for 2021 as the Johnson Hana team continues to grow. As the year progresses, we will see further expansion with new hires planned for a variety of roles across the business.
